Facing the Void Within

Well, I don’t know much about physics, apart from Schrodinger’s cat; Thanks BBT!

I certainly can not explain what a black hole it is. But I have had days when I felt like I was being sucked into one.

It felt like I was plunged into this deep dark pit of nothingness. An emptiness just overshadows you, you feel so lost. And if you are an introvert like myself you retreat even more you into yourself.

Then comes the worst part, trying to fill the void. It’s hard because it doesn’t matter what you try to do you find yourself at the same place, it’s like you are doing cartwheels with your emotions.

You can eat, drink, binge watch crazy episodes of whatever all you like, but you keep going around the same mountain.

But here’s the thing, you have all that it takes to fill the hole. Its been right there with you the whole time.

The only way to fill that emptiness is by embracing it.

It sounds silly, I know, but it works. You know how when it’s so dark the first couple of minutes you can’t see a thing, but if you stop darting your eyes and focus for a while you start to make out shapes and figures?

Well, that’s just it, the only way you are ever going to walk out from this is by embracing the pain, the emptiness, the regret, or whatever other emotion that sucked the life out you in the first place.

The more you stop trying to run away from it, the more things start to take shape, you start to know more about yourself, you can literally see a path out of the black hole.

If there is anything I have learned from comics is that you must believe in yourself, you can defeat the pain. Stop running, and face it.
